Luna Moths only live for up to a week, surviving off the food they consumed in their caterpillar stage to fuel their mating and reproduction as they have no mouths to feed themselves in their moth form. These beautiful nocturnal creatures are part of a delicate nighttime ecosystem as they provide food for owls, bats, spiders, and toads.
