Created from solid Sterling silver, the Mourning Moon pendants are created individually with vintage tools and processes, utilizing a replica of a design used by a late Victorian jewelry manufacturer originating in Newark, New Jersey in the mid 1800's. This jewelry company manufactured jewelry for Tiffany & Co. amongst many others. By recreating these antique designs not only do we keep a piece of history alive, but also breathe new life into creations that will continue to be treasured for generations to come with our heirloom quality hand-crafted Mourning Moon designs.

Each piece is oxidized to a dark antique finish, then highlighted with selective polishing to allow the silver to shine brightly and contrast against the dark grey shadows.

A museum grade wax non-toxic sealant is used to prevent this but is not guaranteed to last forever. Avoid wearing in the shower, swimming pool, submerging fully in water, or during physical labor or exercise.
